R50 2006 stiff ride

I just bought a pre-owned 06 R50 and noticed that I felt almost every bump on the road. I do not have run flat tires; the tires that are on are 195/55/15 Kumho. On the highway, it runs fine.
Also, when driving at a speed of under 20 mph, I feel the engine's idling is not smooth- almost like a jolting motion when I release the accelerator.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

How many miles on the car?

Does it have any mods?

76000 miles. No mods.

How do the tires look? Also check the shocks and strut mounts.

The tires are new. I don' t see anything wrong with the shocks and struts but will have them checked.

It kind of sounds like you have a CV joint going out, could you be mistaking the idle noise for CV joint failure. If the noise only happens when you are moving it is probably the CV joints. Does the noise get louder or change when you turn a corner? If you have a lot of noise and vibration when you accelerate you might have a bad inner joint.

I do not hear any noise when turning. It just bumpy when running on uneven surfaces or bumps on the road.
The jolting motion almost feels like the gas has water mixed in it.
