Default Tire options for 15 inch wheels

I was wondering if anyone runs 195/60-15 tires on their Mini? The overal diamater/radius is very close with only a approx 1.1% speedo difference. If you have was there any change in handeling good or bad. Any help is greatly appriciated as I am in need to replace my tires on my 06, and don't have the money right now for a wheel update.

Default RE: Tire options for 15 inch wheels

They will work fine. A lot of people also run 185/65/15's too (That is what I installed). The selection of quality tires for the stock 175/65/15 is pathetic. Other sizes offer a better selection. The only differences that I noticed is the speedometer error is a bit less, and the Bridgestones have a lot less road noise that the stock Continentals. I think the 60 aspect ratioed tire will give a wee bit better gas milage and the 65's will give a wee bit better handling. Nothing extreme in either case though.
