03 Mini Cooper S Courtesy Night Lamp not working?
 

I recently bought a 2003 Mini Cooper S. At night I noticed when I open a door there's no courtesy light that turns on, I have to manually turn it on and off. Is there a way to have this light turn on automatically when doors are opened? Not sure if this model has this option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd check the door switch , it might have failed ... Does it work from the passenger door ???

I doesn't work from the driver nor the passenger door. The courtesy light only turns on when pressedmanually.

I figured it out. I had to hold the light button for a couple of seconds, until it the light blinks twice.
