05 cooper s window popping?
The weather was nice here a couple of days ago so i decided to put my driver's side window down. its had slight issues before when i'd put it back up of kind of sliding like it was caught on something and skipping to the fully closed position. thats now been replaced by a pop. i haven't put it down again because i'm afraid to. what gives?!

I'd be curious if the alignment is off by chance. I'd probably open up the door and pop the door panel off and investigate inside the panel while rolling the window up and down. There is a pre-tension and position adjustment that can be done. If you need help with taking off the door panel to investigate and doing these adjustments you can find them in our tech article on our site under MINI > Tech Info (tab at top) and then scroll down to Body, Chassis and Interior > Window Regulator Replacement. Let me know what you find.

I see a lot of post regarding windows not functioning or making noises. The R53's windows are frameless or unsupported by metal structures. My suggestion is to attempt to always close your doors with your hand on the door handle rather than the glass window. This will prevent undo pressure on the window.
