05 CooperS with 65k miles alignment problem

My wife’s 05 CooperS went into the dealer because the rear tires are wearing on the inside edge, down to the cord. They are saying all the bushings need to be replaced, which are original, but also all of the control arms. The bill is considerable to say the least. Any suggestions?
