2005 Cooper S Rear Bumper w/sensors

I just picked up a 2005 R52 and the rear bumper has a crack. I have found some rear bumpers but none have the PDC sensors. Do I have to drill a hole and install the sensors?
I can't find any info on that. RockAuto only sells the one bumper without PDC sensors.

I found them on eBay:

Also, Partsgeek carries them but is currently out of stock:

Do you know if the bumper is different or just has a whole in it to mount the sensor & Sensor hardware (holder)?

I don't know specifically, but if I were forced to guess, I'd say the bumper is different. It probably has bosses on the backside to stiffen the bumper where the sensors are. The 'proof in the pudding' would be to take your cracked bumper cap off and have a look.

I pulled the bumper yesterday and found that a normal bumper could be modified to fit the sensors and sensor housing if you are handy with a drill and file.

I also found out that a convertible and hard top rear bumpers are different.

Cool! It's always nice to find a less expensive fix. Especially with notoriously picky cars like ours.
