2006 R53 Power Steering Pump
 

Hi - I need a power steering pump (in Canada) for my R53 - the proper pump is hard to find and expensive (~1800 Cdn) - I have seen some aftermarket pumps available for anywhere between 600 and 1000. Does anyone have any experience with these - anything reliable you would recommend? My understanding that the pump is located sub-optimally and tends to overheat so even the manufacturer pump will be expected to fail after a while. Any advice would be appreciated!
