Default Adding cruise control and steering wheel controls

I'm new to this forum. I have two cars I made into one. The car I made is a 2003 cooper S. The parts car was a 2002 cooper with the automatic. No that the body damage is complete, I'm trying to add some of the extra controls.
The Cruise control, radio controls, and system computer information button where all on the parts car. So far I've changed the steering wheel, the steering column stuff and the wiring harness that goes from the column to the fuse box and a body computer on the passenger side by the floor. All the normal functions like the horn work, but the radio, information computer, and cruise still don't work. My main concern is he cruise. Does anyone know what else I need to change from the donor car before I scrap out the rest. Or does someone have the wiring diagrams. Thanks for any help.

Would it be possible to try changing the computer too or would it not work with the supercharged engine. Is there any other things I would have to change before going to a dealer to have them reprogram it? Thanks for the quick response

You'll need to keep the correct computer with the car, I believe that it can be programmed by the dealer to "turn on" the new features

Default any updates on the progress?

I just bought an 06 cooper S no steering wheel controls or cruise and i'm kinda interested in doing this also. more interested in the cruise than anything as i have some long drives that i make quite frequently. Any tips that you might have would also go a long way to my decision to this undertaking also. hope it's gone well for ya!

I didn't realize it, but when I switched the wiring harness I lost my power for the AC, defrost and recirc buttons. I also tried switching he body control module. The car still ran fine but none of the extra wheel functions worked. I ended up having to put the old wiring harness back in the dash so I could get the AC back. So for Hawkfan72487 I wouldn't recommend the steering wheel swap unless you buy a kit that gives the complete wiring diagram with everything you need.
