Better interior door handles?

Does anyone know where to get metal interior door handles? anything better than the chinsy plastic ones?

I'll say! It was cold out and pulled the inside door handle to get out of the car and something broke inside. Now the handle doesn't snap back and you have to hit the unlock switch to get the friken door open. Now I have to figure out the problem...cause the wife said it's my fault[:@]

My door handle on the passanger side broke the same way. It is the double pull action that tricks people. They pull it once and don't let go until they break it. I took it to the dealer and they said that it is a cable that is connected with some sort of T-shaped end that can pop out of place. The dealers have a clamp that goes on to it and fixes the problem. Had them do both doors (just in case) and have had no problems since.

Yeah, I've almost had to murder a couple of people that have almost ripped mine off. What the hell are people thinking?.. if it doesn't open with slight pressure, ripping the handle off the door isn't going to do any good either.

PS. You can get the double pull thing deactivated at the dealer.

Just had the driver's side door cable fixed. Had to open the door rolling the window down and opening from the outside. Was told that this is a common problem.
