Buying my first MINI R53
Hi,
I'm looking at buying an R53. I live in Sydney, Australia. Tossing up between a stock R53 and a JCW R53 with every single factory option including: - John Cooper Works (or JCW) 157kw (210hp) Engine Package - JCW Brembo Brakes & Rotors - JCW Exhaust - JCW Aero Bodykit - JCW Strut Braces/ Swaybars - JCW Black Viper/Racing Stripes - Carbon fiber/ Chrome Mirror and Dash inserts - Double Sun roof - JCW Suspension slightly lowered - Xenon headlights - Spot Lights with BMW Covers - Half-leather seats - Darkest legal tint - 16" SSR type C Wheels with Goodyear tyres - Chrome MINI2 Gear knob/ Hand Brake Cover - 6 Stacker CD player + Full premium sound system - Ipod Connectivity - Cruise Control + Full Alarm system The stock R53 has 90,000 km on the dash whilst the JCW one has 115,000 km's. The stock one is going for $18,750.00 while the JCW one is going for $20,000.00. The JCW owner has assured me there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car but it seems to good a deal to be true. I am wondering whether it is difficult to find parts for a JCW in Sydney? Which car should I buy? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers. |
ANY dealer can get the JCW parts for you they might be pricey compared to stock Mini parts
