Code 5E19 after water hose change
 

I had to change the small 3 inch water hose in my R52. I also changed the right axle CV shaft.
I put it back together and its getting a Code 5e19 and P0107. It doesn't run very well and the ABS light is on.
I pulled it apart and no wires are pinched nor is there any pressure leaks. Everything is installed correctly. I had my son double check the wiring and install--he is a trained mechanic.
I realized that I pulled and reinstalled the ECU (DME) with the battery connected.
Any thoughts? Did I mess up the ECU by doing this?

We spent a week chasing this 5E19. We finally decided to work on the P0107 so we changed the intake MAP. This was a static fault and the MAP was bad (don't now how it can go bad unpowered, but..)
Once the P0107 was fixed we reset everything and started it up and the DSC light went out and the 5E19 cleared.
It seems engine faults can cause communication errors with other peripherals. At least in this case.
