driver seat problem
 

hi, I have a problem with my 2003 S drivers seat, it doesn't lock into any position except recline (I'm having a hard time driving gansta) the seat releases to enter the backseat, when you bring it back to sit and drive the inner lever doesn't allow you to adjust the seatback, need help with what part might be broken or what spring or what,,,

My 2003 Cooper S has a drivers side seatback recline problem. It is stuck fully recliined. Any solutions? This is not an uncommon problem.
