headlights

Hi, just bought a 2005 Cooper S and it seems the xenon headlights point straight to the ground, does anyone know of any way i can adjust them so I can see better at night?

Are they the HID's ? If so they are motorized they dip down and reset. If not the motors or circuits are bad
