I'm looking at a high milegage cooper S. There is about 192,000Km (115,000 mi) on this one but it is in relatively good shape. A few cosmetic items. Engine runs good and tranny (6 speed) shifts effortlessly. A few rattles here and there but nothing annoying. Are there any areas of concern with a car with this many km? If I go ahead with this I plan on making it a project car anyways but don't want to end up having to blow the budget if there are major items that could drop out a few months down the road.

 

I'd have the clutch checked
