i have no idea, am i crazy?
Hi all, I'm new around these parts. Anyway, I've been shopping for minis and found an 04 s for $13500 out the door. Now, I know these cars keep a high resale value, but here's the thing, the car has 97000 miles. Since I have no idea about the long-term reliability of minis other than some complaining online about the cvt transmissions and blown clutches, I was wondering if you all could give some insight into whether this is a worthwhile purchase.
I have to admit, driving that little s and hearing that supercharger whine was awesome.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

YES Mini's hold value well , I was offered $2k Less then I paid for a 3 year old mini with 36K miles on a new mini...
You don't list options ect on the car so hard to guess book value,

Punch the car and miles/options and see ... To me the miles seem pretty high ,there's an 04S here fully loaded with only 28K miles for $500 more ...
Other weak point is the Power steering pumps (Electrical)
