I have a 2003 Cooper S and was diving back home. It was getting dark so I took the exit before the one I usually make to avoid a busy intersection. All of a sudden its pitch black out and the car in front of me slows down fast, the Black Honda SUV bumper misses mine and hits my front grill braking my left driving light.

the car still tracks true and it still has all of the systems working well. The hood has been damaged though and the grill has a crack in it.

What do I do now? do I let the insurance bozos wright it off?

Any suggestions?
