Im loosing a little also, but I think its my heater core. because I can smell it when I turn the heat on in the car. may just be loose hose also.

good luck finding it. unless a mechanic recommends putting that stuff in it I wouldn't.

I would not use radiator sealer. You need to track down the leak. For a 2002-2006 MINI Cooper S or 2005-2008 MINI Cooper S Convertibles, there are a couple main locations to check.

Coolant expansion tank. They will leak at the seam. Part # 17137529273

Radiator at the top neck on the driver side. It will leak at the neck, have to replace the whole radiator, the neck is not sold separate. Or upgrade to Mi****moto version w/ lifetime warranty.

Also check the heater core which is near the foot well.

Heater core:

And don't forget the heater core kit:

Recommend the MINI OEM coolant and mix with distilled water.

Also check the thermostat neck on the driver side of the engine. Part # 11537596787KT We have a kit that has a new thermostat since it has that gasket and the hardware to install.

Thanks and hope that helps.
