Lumbar Armrest Nightmare

Hey everyone, my dad bout an armrest for his 53 plate cooper s, it is supposed to fit where the lumbar adjuster goes, it came with a bracket and 2 long bolts any ideas at all? can't seem to work it out!!

Might help to link to WHAT he bought doesn't sound like an OEM part as the stocker mounts to the rear of the center console
