I have found these lights for mini cooper http://www.xenonplanet.com/mini-coop...se-plate-lamps anybody tried them?

Im thinking that it would be much more nicer than yellow halogen lights.

They look pretty good but they seem a bit expensive.

 

I found LED replacement bulbs for $15 and replaced the stockers , far cheaper and every bit as nice

 

i saw cheap ones too, but as you know you get for what you pay... If you pay $10 dont think that you will get quality product for a long time, it will burn out after 2 weeks, again 10, later again 10 and what you get? I don't think thats the way to save mate

 

and these ones I found are 18 SMD, you buy only few bulbs.

Compare to these LED bulbs http://www.xenonplanet.com/36mm-festoon-led-bulbs

and you will save that these ones don't look good like 18 smd plate lights

 

Hmmm my $15 bulbs are 5+ years old and never had a trouble with them
