Love the MINI S, have had it since December 2005, ordered and bought it new. Transmission slipped a couple of months ago, had the tires rotated, then replaced the worn tires. It just started slipping again. Have only 52350 miles and have had it maintained via the dealer from whom I bought the car.

What has your experience been, and if it slipped what were the fixes? Thanks.

 

I would have the transmission oil changed as it is not life time as Mini states.
You will have to find a local mini repair shop to do this, Trust me it works

 

Same here. My 2006 S converible w/78,000 miles did the same thing. Flushed the transmission, still slipping. Any suggestion? Could it be the computer program?
