Hi, I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I have a budget of $1000 and am looking to increase the power significantly. I have seen several modifications come up repeatedly (pulley, exhaust,chip), but I was wondering what combination of modifications will work best in my budget. Could you recommend a list of modifications that would fit in budget? Also looking for specific part recommendations. Thanks

Do the one ball mod, a simple google or forum search will show you that . Easily done by a shop for 100.00 or less.

Air Intake -I would Suggest buying one USED, there are a ton out there on the market used. run you about 100-150

Screamin Demon or MSD coil pack and wires .. Should run you about ~100-125 .

That should get you going pretty good, an also allow you to upgrade the handling to go with the increased power.

Don’t upgrade the ignition the oem ignition system is fine unless you’re pushing 400+ hp
