Default New mini owner, plans and questions

I have recently bought a 02 R53, it's a 264xxx kms, Dinan one ball exhaust and I couple dents. I have done some research and I have come to the conclusion that my wishlist looks something like this

- ddm cold air intake
- 15% or 17% supercharger reduction pulley
- upgraded brakes (possibly with e36 master cylinder)
- coil overs ( brand preference? )

Cosmetically the car is electric blue (and I hate it) so after I pull the dents I intend to plastidip or vinyo wrap the car flat gray, and a blackjack on top.

I do have drafts drawn up of a paint scheme, havent figured out how to post them yet.

My concerns are:
Is it recommend to change the crank pulley to a bigger size while changing supercharger pulley?

Who makes the best coilovers for dd plus track use?

Other performance mods that I'm over looking?

Hey cazzR53. I put a 17% pulley in my R53 and it runs just fine. You don't have to upgrade your crank pulley. I mean you can if you want but I run mine without one. You will notice the difference right away. And once it gets broken in, you will love it! Warning though. After you upgrade your supercharger pulley, it'll sound like there is a huge pissed off cat under your bonnet. I don't have coilovers but just make sure they are of good quality. As far as other mods are concerned, have you considered chipping it? You are definitely going on the right track to making your R53 a badass track car. Good luck!

Welcome New Members - MINI Cooper Forum

Pics of the paint scheme can be found in the link.
Thanks for your input. And yes I am looking St getting a custom written tune after a install the supercharger pulley and intake. Do you have any suggestions for new injectors, brand and size?

Check out the Bosch injectors. They have them from 400cc to 1000cc. The higher the number the more fuel you will be letting in to combust. Will this be your daily driver also? If so i would go somewhere in the middle.
