New to Mini's - Recently Purchased R53

All,

Just purchased a 2006 last week and so far I love it. I took it on it's first ~200 mile road trip this weekend and though it now needs an oil change, it ran like a finely tuned machine!

It appears to be stock form everywhere I can see and has plenty of life left in it. It drives straight as an arrow, etc. However, it does have almost 167,000 miles on it. So I just wanted to pose a few questions to this group:

-What kind of life expectancy are folks getting out of these engines?
-What are the general maintenance items I need to be watching for specific to these cars - aside from the typical fluids changes, etc.?
-This is my first Supercharged engine.. Are there any SC maintenance items to watch for? I saw a YouTube video where he was replacing the SC oil. Is that something that should have been done prior to 167,000 miles?

I'm more than happy to dig into the maintenance items, I am just looking to get out ahead of anything that I can.

Thanks in advance for the help!
