R53 (metal roof) water ingress in roof / rear-view mirror
 

Quite a bit of water has (unknown to me until this morning) has made its way into my rear view auto-dimming mirror, on my R53 and the sound proofing in the area above is soaking wet.

I haven't taken the headliner out, so don't know how widespread the problem is (I'm hoping to better understand the issue, before randomly ripping things out :))

Bearing in mind this is not a convertible, and the radio antenna mount gasket seems fine, can anyone suggest likely places/causes of water ingress?

Sunroof drains get clogged and overflows into mirror sometimes.

Thanks. Yea, I heard that was a common issue - except I don't have a sunroof. However, I did find the roof gutter drain holes were block (just above the A-pillars) but I'm not sure how that would allow water inside (surely, it would just overflow down the outside of the window?). Anyway, I've cleared them and will keep an eye on things the next time we get heavy rainfall...
