Default steering

wen turning my wheels at a stop a whining noise happens? has my steering pump gone and need changing? cheers

Have you check the power steering fluid reservoir to ensure that you have enough power steering fluid.Usually more than not, your power steering pump is squealing because you don't have enough fluid in it.

If you indeed need a new pump, then this company can rebuild the pump for allot cheaper[/align][/align]BBA Remanufacturing, Inc.

It's the electric power steering pump. It's perfectly normal.

Yes, it sounds like a mouse or something to me. I read in my users manual that it's the power steering. It's kind of a trade made. I like it now that I'm used to the sound nothing to worry about. Have fun with the whiny Mini!
