Can someone recommend a good place to purchase a power steering pump for a 2003 mini cooper S. Or can I pull the current one and send it out to be rebuilt?

Thank you very much for your quick replies. Are these websites that search scrap yard inventory? Also do you know where I can do a comparison of a new unit, besides BMW?

I heard I should be able to purchase a new one for around 600 is that true? I might spend that instead of getting a used one as I would be a little worried of the same thing happening again.

Mini is the only source I know for new ...

 

BBA Reman will rebuild the pump for $200....takes three days before you get the pump back....lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.
