2013 mini radio comes on by itself

2013 mini radio comes on by itself

I have a 2013 mini cooper convertible and the radio is coming on by itself, key is out and doors locked. No solutions in the manual and I have tried everything I can think of. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I fixed the problem (hopefully) for the time being. I sprayed silicone lubricant around all of the ***** and buttons of the radio unit. Seems to have done the trick. Behaves normally again. Ernie.

What happened at the end?

Hi I have the same issue. What happend with that the end.
