I just got my NEW 2006 R53 yesterday, I am going to install one of the most awesome audio system you have ever seen in a Mini. Pioneer AVIC Z3 (Double Din)GPS\NAV\Stereo\DVD play back with Bluetooth streaming audio & hands free phone interface, Ipod with head unit controls, XM Sat Nav radio, Back up camera, JL Audio 6 channel 450 watt amp, 8" JL sub with custom enclosure, JL tweeters. Not sure if I can get my Infinity speakers to fit in the doors yet. I am having the top AV install center in town put it in $1500 install cost not including the components. it might take a couple weeks to complete because of custom fab of a new center console. I will post some pics when done.
