Default ipod adapter for girlfriends mini!

Hello,
My girlfriend's b-day is coming up and all she wants is an ipod car adapter for her 2003. I really want to make her happy and get it, but I'm having an issue. She has a 2003 mini cooper S, and I need to know if she has the Harmon kardon audio system or not. If she does have it, I can't get what I want...which is this...

I know the speaker grills say harmon kardon, but not sure about the head unit. If I can't get the above link, is there any alternatives? She wants a hardwire kit...no FM modulators...Thanks in advance...

I can only say that I have the HK Factory stereo and had the dealer install the ipod adapter. It is the best with no interference. Just great sound. Go with a direct connection.

Can the ipod adapter from Mini work with Nav.? I have the itrip and I get to much static. I want something a little safe so I dont have to take my eyes off the road.
