Default iPod/iPhone Options?

I am planning on buying a new MINI this summer and was looking into my options for connecting my iPod Classic (I also want to be able to use my iPhone as an iPod too incase I forget to charge the Classic). It appears that there are 3 different options that show up at 3 different prices.

1. Bluetooth & USB/iPod Adapter for $500
2. Comfort Bluetooth with USB/iPod Adapter for $750
3. Smartphone Prep with comfort USB for $100

Can anyone explain what all the differences in these 3 are? Which would I want? Are there any cheaper options that also integrate in with the steering wheel controls?

Thanks for your help.

I also would like to know the differences. Does the cheapest one allow you to control via the steering wheel or just the radio controls?
