Stereo/CD delays - Electrical
 

I've been having weird issues with my stereo for years, but just sorta lived with it. (H/K upgrade - 2008)

Main thing is that it takes about 10 seconds for my stereo to power up. Not a big deal since it eventually does come on.

She also doesn't play nice with CDs. Takes forever to read one and usually spits it back out. Or if the CD was already playing during previous drive, I can usually eject it and put it back in (annoying only because it doesn't start where I left off).

Another thing which is strangest of all... She must not like alternative/rock. There is a certain station that, if I turn the car off with it on 103.3, then get in later and start her up, there is the 10 second delay and the lights come on, but no sound will come out. All I have to do is switch the station and switch it back and it's fine.

Like I said, I can live with most of these things. But I might be trading for a new one soon and I want everything to be working correctly.
