Stock stereo woes... two questions
 

Got the wife a S ragtop last month and she, I, we, love the lil guy! However with the top down, the stock radio often leaves one asking...'what did they just say?'

what are the speakers sizes in the doors/back of the Mini?

is the stock radio aftermarket amp friendly?

The front lowers are 5.25 and the uppers are 3.5, typically they are replaced with separates, the tweeter easily fits in the 3.5 spot, there is room in the door for the
x-over. The rears are 6 x 9. Typically replaced by coaxial speakers, or modded for subs.

I believe the rears are 6.5" in the convertible.
