exhaust question.
 

hi guys,

I have a 2014 Mini Cooper S hardtop. my question is.. is it possible to put a washer in/on the exhaust to make or change the sound of my exhaust? I have a buddy that has a 370z and he said that he put a washer in/on his exhaust that made his exhaust sound better than normal.

Hey imbrilliant, i'm sure your local exhaust place can put that mod on your car. My sister has a 2015 MCS hardtop and the stock sound sounds really good already. Are you looking to make it more throaty or quieter?

hey teamslam1, not much of a throaty sound.. maybe just a little louder than the sound of my stock right now. but is there a DIY for that by chance?

ive research about putting washer in stock exhaust. but it gave me a "one ball exhaust mod" is that compatible on the 2014 MCS? and if i was to buy an exhaust kit. what would you recommend? ive looked at Miltek and Invidia. but im leaning more than Invidia.

I know Milteks are good quality. Not sure about Invidia though. I know Borla makes them also. Another brand that's pretty cool but really rare here is Akrapovic. That's from the motherland of England. Check out this website www.lohen.co.uk they have a lot of cool stuff for our Minis.
