Hi, im about to purchase a mini cooper and was wondering why some have the air scoop on the bonnet and most dont, also if i purchase a mini without the air scoop is it possible to install one on by either changing the bonnet or simply adding a airscoop

Minis with the air-scoop are the Cooper S model...They have more power with the turbo charged engine and a few other bells and whistles. The ones with no scoop are just the regular Coopers...Naturally aspirated and such. Don't know about installing aftermarket hoods on a regular Cooper though.
