clutch problems - are there any?
 

I am considering purchase of a Mini Clubman with manual transmission. I found a nice one but with 60,000 miles (2009 Clubman with 6 speed manual).

Consulting the web....it appears that there are problems with clutch wear. They don't last that long - is this true?

I have driven manual transmission for 20+ years with only one clutch problem. My current 97 Miata has 140,000 on original clutch and it still works fine.

I really like the look and feel of a Mini but don't want to set myself up for disappointment and large expenses for clutch replacement.

What is experience of current owners?
