Decal removal

What will dissolve those ugly, irritating air bag decals on the sun visors? I used alcohol on the ones on the Boxter, and they came right off. On the ML, Goof off did the trick. Neither works on the mini ones. 409 and Krud kutter don't either. Maybe a previous thread reference? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants those damn things off.

Is this maybe too technical for this forum? Or is it that you object to my rebellious, criminal attitude towards safety legislation? After all, it's not anywhere near as bad as ripping off the "DO NOT REMOVE" tags off a new pillow.

You mean paint over them, or slip a sock or aftermarket visor cover over them?
