As a team of enthusiasts who own all types of European cars, we have the advantage of the exposure that comes with the enthusiast lifestyle - and have a strong understanding of what makes a great brake pad. In the pursuit of a really great brake pad for daily driving, we’ve tested a wide range of brake pads. After thousands of test miles, iterating through a variety of pad compounds, we’ve landed on the ideal blend for our DD23 Daily Driver pad.

Features:
  • Good stopping power - Brake pads need to stop your car, period, so this is key. We focused on selecting a compound that offers a healthy level of friction (both when hot and when cold) for safe, positive stopping power.
  • Positive initial bite - You should feel your brakes engage as you press the pedal, but it should not feel like an on/off switch! Ceramic compounds frequently lack the confidence-inspiring engagement of a healthy initial bite, but the semi-metallic DD23 does not, while giving your passengers a comfortable ride in stop-and-go traffic. We’ve hit a good balance here.
  • Low-dust (but not no-dust) - Some factory-installed pads are eye-poppingly dusty, which is a no-go for us. While some would instead opt for a ceramic pad for its lighter-colored dust, this dust is just as likely to show up on darker colored calipers and wheels. We’ve improved on the “dust factor” as a good compromise, which will be a win for anyone who doesn’t detail daily (or anyone who does, too!)
  • Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. DD23 is comfortable and quiet - both on the ears and in lack of vibration transmitted through the cabin.
  • Long life - This should be an obvious one. Your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. They are kind to rotors, too (no accelerated wear characteristics) for many miles of motoring.

We have included all the must need parts direct from the manufacturer for your Turbo MINI high-pressure fuel pump repairs.

This HPFP (High-Pressure Fuel Pump) is the main pressure behind the direct injection engine and is located on the side of the engine head. The HPFP is located on driver's side of the engine and assists the fuels system to deliver the higher fuel line pressure. Sometimes you will get a false start or a check engine light that contributes to loss of fuel line pressure.

Fix those cold starts or cold start ups.
Sputtering/surging at start up. Code P2880 Check engine light
