Default Ferman Mini

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that i wish was given to me!!!!!

Back in October I made the 2.5 hour drive to Ferman Mini in Tampa, FL to have service done on my car. I was having issues with rough idles, the car not wanting to start in the AM, and it studdering and acting like it was going to stall while driving. Victor was my service rep while there. he advised me that I had 2 recalls that needed to be done on the car and gave the following explaination for the other problems.... Per Victor MC S models have a "self test" which the computer randomly runs to test the air fuel the test can run from 10 sec up until 6 minutes whenever it wants, while the test is running it can cause the car the studder and act like it going to stall. )FYI that is BS I have spoken to many other MINI dealers since then and there is no such thing!!!!!!!)He preformed the 2 recalls and sent me on my way.

Since then my warranty hasexpired and the problem has gotten a lot worse! I have made formal complaints to MINI and to the dealership.Ferman refuses to fix the problem even though thierservice tech lied to me. I confrontedhim and he did not even deny that he lied. They advised me that I cancome back up to the dealership and they will look at the car again butat my expense. I now have an appointment on Monday with Lauderdale MINI ( a 3 hour drive) they saidthey do not have a problem fixing the car and having it covered under my warranty.

If you can help itDO NOT go to Ferman MINI they are liars and do not care aboutyour business. My car is now unsafe to drive and they do not care. (The car completly stalls when at traffic lights sometimes now)

I hope I can help someoneelse from having the problems I did!!! Good luck.

BTW i have a 2003MCS with less than 30k on it.

Default RE: Ferman Mini

I thought this had to do with software and has been resolved. Call them up and tell them to reload your software.
