Help! Light won't go out!

We have a 2008 Clubman. The "P" park light is lit up in red, even when the vehicle is off, key is not in the vehicle, and all other interior indicator lights are off. Is this normal?

I think theres a timer on my wifes it stays on for a time then goes off
