Ordered ‘05 Cooper S in Feb. ‘04, del’d 8/04. Convertible w/JCW. Originally aNY car, now So. Cal. No rust, no accidents...top needs a little work at seams. The interior tan leather is splitting at seams. Approaching 60k miles, all easy, I am 75 yrs. old. How far do folks go to update a daily driver? I will replace leather as needed, what about worn cruise control buttons, etc. Is it reasonable to budget $5,000.? Thank You for any advice.
