Anyone with a convertible wind deflector have an opinion on it's usefulness. Is it worth the $500 price tag?

Its pretty nice and I use mine all the time in the R52 Convertible. Great for cool sumer nights and keep the wind out from under your feet and you can talk to people at normal highway speeds. Put the side windows up and that will help alot with the factory wind deflector. What year / model do you have ? R52 (2005-2008 ) or R57 (2009+) .

Thanks for the info. I am just starting to look at Mini's. Definitely want a convertible. I live in S.W. Fla. so can use all year with top down. Considering the roadster also, as I like the looks, but do need a bit of hauling capacity.
Replacing an '84 El Camino with a turbo V-6 motor. Nice to have something not everyone else has.

Hey. I had a mini cooper s convertible and bought the wind deflector...it was a must have in my opinion!! I sold my car but realized I still have the wind deflector and case. It is like brand new!! I am looking to sell it...a whole lot less than you will find on amazon or from mini. This is an original factory item that I bought from mini. Product # 54340445398. Amazon selling for $490 and mini site over $500. I'm selling for $350 and we can split the shipping fee. LMK
