Default Mini's in Snow

I live currently in Miami, but am likely going to move to the NC mountains soon. How does the MINI handle on icy, snowy roads?

As good , if not better than any front wheel drive car. The one thing you have to watch for though is that the Mini has minimal ground clearance, so really deep, unplowed snow can cause a concern. Like Bad Venge, we have gotten really deep snow at times last winter. I would leave the Mini in the garage until I could blast through the snowdrifts in my driveway a few times with my Dodge 4X4. Oout on the road, the Mini has never had a problem in the snow.
