New "S" or older JCW car?

I'm going to purchase a Mini. Should I buy a new "S" or search for an older (say 04 thru 06) JCW car? Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.:eek:

I always like "new".
I treat MINI like I want it treated.
I don't have to worry how it was treated or its' history of driving.

On the other hand, it depends what you want.
The new engines for 2007 (other than ragtop) are French made and I am not sure about their proven abilities. The new ones are turbo charged in the S model.
The earlier ones were Chrysler and are SuperCharged.

I just bought a 2007 Mini Cooper S Cabrio and love it.

Go drive both, which ever one you like the best is the one you should buy, don't let other people tell you which to get.
