OK, I'm know there is a listing somewhere that specifies when and how many miles as to changing oil. But I have not found it. So, how often is the oil changed is it every 3000 miles or 5000 miles? What is the OEM specifications on the change?

 

Mini recomended is every 15k miles or yearly . There is a countdown on the car tat shows mile till change and can be reset I do every 5k and not reset till it's due then mini will do it (if in warranty)

 

Wow, 15k . I just can't do that. Think I'll follow your lead, do it at least every 5k and take it in for the free 15k.
Thanks, oh, the countdown was never set in mine. It's an 07 and it says to change it in January of 01. I bought it this year with 12k, including all the warranty package.
