Presently own a 2008 135 i.... The dealership is 30 miles away....had to bring back the car for numerous issues beyond standard care... A real pain in the ***... Considering a mini cooper roadster ... Not practical, but I like fun... The nearest mini dealer is 50 miles away.... Scares me... I don't mind making arrangements for routine service, but if the mini requires inordinate number of trips to the dealer , I'm screwed!!! This could be a deal breaker.... I just don't know how reliable / dependable the mini is.....

 

My 05 minis been to the dealer twice in warranty for oil change services (free) Currently 82K

My wifes 10 has been there tree times twice for oil change service and once for a non working lighter (1 week old) Currently 36K
