Polishing bonnet stripes
 

Just picked up my new/used 2004 Cooper S today. Wow, what a fun little car. I love it and have only driven it about 40 miles thus far due to some bad weather coming our way.

The car is RED and has white stripes on the bonnet that are pretty dull. The paint on the car is fabulous and someone knew how to polish w/o swirls or straight line marks. But the stripes seem very dull. Will waxing them bring them back? Can I also use my orbital by Gloss Haus(the best system I've EVER used) on the stripes if I use the finest grit?

Just wondering before I start cleaning her the way I want to. I told the dealership not to touch her b/c that was my job!;)

I don't think it will. Might consider new ones.
