Potential Purchase - 2006 Mini Cooper JCW
 

Good day to everyone, very new to the Mini scene, been looking to get into it for years. I wanted to get the forums' take on a potential purchase, and if what was being asked for the car is too much in your opinions.

The vehicle is a 2006 Mini Cooper JCW with 116K miles. The lady is asking $6200 USD. The car is in good shape, has been serviced and well kept by the lady. I test drove it and it runs very strongly - actually put a huge smile on my face. My biggest worry is the mileage. At 116K miles, it is getting up there. The interior is about 7/10, an the exterior is about 7/10. There is some wheel rash on 3 out of the 4 wheels.

Just looking for some guidance - is 2006 a troublesome year for these cars? Would it be worth dropping $6200?
