Hello, I just bought a MINI Cooper Convertible and I was wondering if anyone has ever put a receiver hitch on their cooper? I would like to use my existing Yakima bike rack rather than install the sport links and use the MINI bike rack. The garage that installed the receiver on my old car told me a receiver could be installed on non-S coopers. Has anyone tried this and used a hitchmounted bike rack? Thanks.
