Roadster at small used car lot--risky?

I have never owned a Mini. I have the opportunity to purchase a 2015 Mini Cooper Roadster S with 112,000 miles from a small used car lot for approximately $11,000. Cosmetically it looks great. I am hesitant because I can't ask the prior owner about mechanical condition, past issues, etc. Generally, is this too many miles to consider buying from a used car lot? What should I look for when inspecting the car? What issues can I expect from a Mini Roadster of this age with this many miles?
Thanks!

It's not too many miles as many people drive 100+ miles per day commuting. That means high mileage for a 2015 would be double that. However, as with any 9 year-old vehicle I would pay the $150 ~ and have an independent mechanic check it out. Once you get a clean report, buy it. You can start by pulling a CARFAX report on it to check maintenance and history.

Thanks! I ended up passing on the roadster, and bought a 2018 S 2 door with sunroof with just under 57000 miles. Loving it!
