Some guidance on mini
 

How's it going. I Have absolutely zero knowledge on mini coppers. I Have a guy wanting to trade me an 04 s with 125xxxmiles for an xterra i have for sale for $2750. It's got some damage and he said the powersteering doesn't work sometimes. I'm mechanically inclined but here again I've never even seen a mini engine etc. Would I be getting hurt in this trade?. I imagine in good shape it's a $5000 car. I Have not seen it in person yet so can't give a full story. Any help or guidance on things to look for would be great, thanks.
